In 1982, St. Patrick's Conference was formed and aggregated in 1994. St. Patrick's has a dedicated group who are involved in many different aspects of the Society's work. There are 22 members, 18 of which are active members and four of which are associate members. The Conference meets on the last Monday of each month at the Parish Center.

The core of our Conference work is Home Visiting and in 2007 we made 219 visits to 90 families which included 111 adults and 194 children. Eight members volunteer at the SCO on a regular basis. Some take part in the Christmas Giving Program, delivering Christmas vouchers to seniors, as well as volunteering on various committees. Members also participate in World Food Day on October 16th.

St. Patrick's Conference has twinned with a conference in El Salvador and are exchanging emails with them. They were able to send a donation to help them with their work. They also continue to assist a family in India through "Save a Family Plan" and support the SJ Willis Alternative School Lunch Program. Also two Brown Bag Grocery Appeals were organized this year, one in Lent and one before Thanksgiving. St. Patrick's takes every opportunity to give parishioners information about the Society and appreciates the Parish's generous response to every appeal we have made on behalf of those in our community who are struggling, and are very grateful.

"Parishioners continue to drop food and hygiene items into our grocery carts on a weekly basis throughout the year. The students of St. Patrick's School also assisted us with appeals for food as well as special items for our Christmas Program. We want to thank the staff and the students for their assistance and particularly Vice Principal Patrick Card for his support."
