How to make a Financial Donation.
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Vancouver Island is a Canadian registered charity. The society charity number is 11920 4295 RR0001. All financial donors receive an official receipt for tax purposes in February
of each year for the donations received in the previous year.

If you would like to make a donation to the Society with your VISA card over the phone please call the administration office at (250) 727-0007.
- In Person
Donate in person to the Society by going to our administration office. Donations of interact, VISA, cash or checque are gratefully accepted between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Bequests and Wills
A bequest to the society is a legacy of love...
Charities such as the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul rely on legacies as a source of income and use them to support many of their core works.
In the past legacies have:
Enabled the
Frederic Ozanam Centre - a centre for people with disabilities - to improve its wheelchair and personal care facilities and provide a better service to the people who use it.
Contributed to the construction of the St.Vincent de Paul Centre for 43 homeless at risk individuals in downtown Victoria. Without the contributions of legacies these neighbors in need may have been without homes.

In Memoriam Donations
Donations given in memory of a loved one ensure that the Society can continue in its mission to help those most in need. In Memoriam donations can be made in place of flowers at a funeral, or to commemorate a special
day such as a birthday or anniversary. Such a donation is wonderful tribute to anyone who supported the Society in their lifetime.
If you would like to make an In Memoriam donation, please phone the administration office at (250) 727-0007 or mail your donation to SSVP, 4349 West Saanich Road, Victoria, B.C., V8Z 3E8.
When the Society receives an In Memoriam donation, the family of the person in whose memory it is receives a card with our prayers and a note that a donation has been made on the donors behalf to the Society (no amount is specified).
Payroll Giving
Ask your employer about payroll giving. If your workplace has a United Way Campaign or another charitable campaign you can specify your donation to the Society, all you need is the Society Charity number
