History

The Frederic Ozanam Centre opened in 1982 to provide specific programs for the mentally and physically disabled at the request of the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

The program was modeled on a sheltered workshop philosophy that provided training and work experience in the areas of horticulture, woodworking, electronics and retail. The Centre has evolved over the years from a work program orientation to one that focuses on client community inclusion.

Vision and Purpose

We offer a range of programs to people with various disabilities, which provide individual opportunity for continued growth, independence, self-fulfilment and integration into the community.
