The staff at the Sorting Centre works tirelessly to manage our many donations and to avoid injury, unnecessary trash disposal costs, and inefficiencies, encourages you to read over the responsible donating section before donating any items.
Located on site is a sorting space, loading dock, clothing sewing and repair area, furniture and small appliance repair area, furniture sale room, and dispatch office.

Donation pick up and drop off
We have a small fleet of trucks that we use to pick up and deliver clothing, furniture and other household items to our 5 retail locations. In 2002 two new trucks were purchased for pick-up and delivery of donated goods and in 2008 the Society was able to purchase another new van with a donation.Whenever possible, please drop off your donations, the scheduling for pick-ups can sometimes result in a 2-6 week wait based on demand.
